EDWARD DRAWDE

Edward Drawde is a rock/punk/folk artist from Kansas City, Missouri and Austin, Texas. Originally born in Fort Collins, Colorado, Ed grew up listening to Christian rock groups like Petra, Switchfoot, Relient K, and DC Talk. When he stopped going to church, he started playing loud rock and roll music, playing in several bands including White Wimberley, Shaun the Bandersnatch (as Shaun Shannonoggan), Pop! Goes the Dino (as SWUH), ITCH, The Doxons, The Stone Cold Congressmen, and The Bloody Knuckles. Ed is the founder of Midwest Coast Music Company (previously called Lockjaw Jawa Reckords).

Edward has released two solo albums to date, “Tiny Houses In A Big World” (2016) and “Noise” (2017), as well as an EP, “Vaguely Folkish” (2018). He is currently writing a third solo album, entitled “Vermont”, which is expected sometime in early 2019.

Currently, Edward is playing live shows both as a solo acoustic act and with his newly assembled backing band, Edward Drawde and the Satanic Rites, in addition to playing guitar for The Bloody Knuckles (sometimes under the pseudonym “Matt Winston”, “Felix Sauerbier”, or “Shaun Shannonoggan”).
